Journal moment

I'm sitting her utterly exhausted, but I wanted to journal this before I got too busy as usual and then it just gets forgotten. This last week Chris and I took our girls to visit my sister Jenifer and her family in Layton Utah. We had an absolutely amazing perfect time. It has been 2 years since I was able to take the girls, but 3 since Chris came with me. When I approached Chris about going, he wasn't extremely thrilled about spending his spring break in Utah. Chris being a awesome man though meant we got to go. Making the 12+ hour drive in one day went so smoothly. I was reminded of how well Chris and I get along and work together. The majority of our "trips" are taken with my family, so there is just a lot of us. I spent a lot of this week reflecting on how much I love Chris and how grateful I am for him. He is so good to me. I just love how kind he is to me and how he makes me feel like I am so important to him. It was so wonderful this week to not only have the opportunity to visit my sister, but also to have the time for Chris and I to take a break from our busy schedules and just be able to be with each other and our girls. I am so blessed to have an awesome family.
