Chris and I are so proud of Haley. We challenged her to get straight A's. It's not that we would be upset if she didn't, but we just knew that she was so capable. She just needed to put in that extra push to achieve it, and we wanted her to feel the satisfaction of working toward something and achieving it. Haley has always scored advanced in the state tests, and after talking to her teachers, we realized that she wasn't getting a B here and there because the work was terribly challenging. She was moving through the work too fast so she could finish and pull out a book. Haley looooves to read. I have pictures of her at barely a year old, sitting and just flipping the pages in a book. We're very grateful that she likes to read so much, but she needed to slow down and take the time to check her work a little more. Now she gets to see the reward of her extra effort. Thank you Haley for working hard and being a good example to your younger sisters!
We love you!!!
