Our "Garden"

Ok, so anyone who knows me knows that I do not have a green thumb. Chris teases that I have killed every house plant I've ever had. (sadly it's true) Well, over the last few years, the girls and I have begun planting things for fun. We don't have a designated garden area, we just plant them where there's a spot. I put of planting stuff forever because I didn't think I had the time or the knowledge. Well I still don't have the time or know how, but I just don't stress about it. I let the girls pick a few things from the store, and some grow great and some don't. Our "garden" has been more fun than I expected. The girls and I love checking on it to see whats happening. So this morning when I came home from the gym, Olivia wanted to go see if we had any "kini's" (zucchini), so I thought I'd do a fun garden post.Olivia by our "kini" and cucumber plants
I can't wait for the tomatoes!! Nothing is better than fresh garden tomatoes!

The girls planted this grape vine a few years ago. It's finally got some fruit.
I hope they taste good. :)
We have 4 apples on our tree!! Last year we had 4 apricots on the tree and this year we had tons, so I have high hopes for the apple tree next year! We got 2 cherries on the cherry trees, so maybe next year we'll get lots.

Last year the girls and I planted this tiny pumpkin plant and ended up with this. I had no idea how big one plant could get. The girls loved it. They would go check every day to see how big the pumpkins were getting. It was also great because we had enough pumpkins for friends and cousins to take one home. Maybe we'll do the pumpkin patch next year too.

Nice garden. I remember how last year your pumpkin vines took over the whole side patio! Good job!
