On Saturday afternoon, we were going to go bowling with my family. Gabe had a bunch of free passes that needed to be used. When we got to the bowling alley, it was totally full. We headed over to Rite Aid across the street for ice cream cones instead. When I was young, my dad would take us to Thrifty all the time for FHE and get ice cream cones. I remember LOVING to do that. To this day, their ice cream is my favorite kind. The kids all had fun and didn't mind that we weren't able to bowl. I love spending time with my family. I am always so grateful to have some of my siblings in town.
For those of you who read my blog and don't know my brother Gabe very well, he actually is not really mentally retarded, he is just a total dweeb! The volume is always LOUD when he's around, but we do love him. He is fun to have around for sure.

Are you sure he's not retarded? Will you guys be able to use the passes or are they just going to waste? That's kind of a bummer.
I love Thrifty ice cream. My parents used to take us for FHE. I guess that is place for ice cream when you have lots of kids. Now when we come to town, we go there too! I had to introduce it to my kids!
