Saturday work

This morning Chris and I left the girls in their PJ's and headed outside to do yard work. As we were working, Gabe came by to drop something off. Logan wanted to stay and hang out. I warned him that we were working hard, but that he could stay and work with us. He chose to stay. He's smiling in this pic, but about and hour later, he was begging to go inside. :) We worked very hard this morning. We had the girls outside with us for a good 2 1/2 hours. We got lots done and we feel really good about getting our kids to work with us. Over all they did great. I'm glad too because Chris and I chose to cancel our gardener a little bit ago so we could use the money elsewhere. So, this will become a recurring thing for the girls. :)

Then Margo Loftus (who is AMAZING! I grew up with her kids. She taught seminary when I was in HS. She was the BEST teacher. She and Keith are in the PP ward. Those kids have no idea how blessed they are to have her as a teacher) came over to work on a song with Chris and Haley. They are singing together in Sacrament Mtg in October.

I took this video of them. Mind you we were out in the yard all morning, so thats why they're all dirty. This is a very rough video. This was the first time either of them had even heard the song. I think they did great for the first practice. I LOVE Chris's voice! I am so so so excited for the two of them to do a duet. What a great memory this will be. I cant wait to hear the song when they both have it down. I'm sure I'll take a video then too. For any who want to come to our Sacrament Mtg to hear them, they will be singing on October 12. Our ward meets in the Gettysburg/Peach bldg at 12:30.
